A heartfelt true story of Aborigine man Kurung Djuru whose journey we follow through orphanages, prisons and eventually rehabilitation. Tortured by the mistreatment of his sister, Kurung sets out to find her.
Sudden visions sent to him by his dead grandfather take him on another course that begins to reshape his life.
Drawn to Sydney the visions lead him to a struggling Aborigine dance group led by a dying woman whose dream is to show their culture to the world. With the help a flamenco musician Kurung leads the group across three Continents on a quest to enter The World cultural Dance Competition.
